Physiotherapist

Space available: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and weekends.

We are recruiting two high-quality registered physiotherapists to work at our beautiful Kulhay Wellness Centre in Erin, Ontario for just one of or all of the days listed above!

 

CLINICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

 

• Assessing, reassessing, and treating patients - own/lead their care plans with the collaboration of the team to ensure the best patient outcomes;

• Emailing/calling past patients to check-in, ask about injuries, sending exercise/stretch video links to be helpful, while letting people know you are here;

• Leading by example, referring to fellow practitioners at the clinic;

• Blogs/posts (optional not required) great candidates will have an inclination to assist our Marketing Manager to write helpful communications for our communications channels and educate people on the benefits of physiotherapy.

•  The ideal candidate loves working with teams and is motivated by helping patients get better quickly. They value multidisciplinary collaboration to make a clinic successful and a great place to visit as a patient (and to work as a therapist). We want someone who likes people and who has a thirst and the drive to be successful.

•  A therapist who has confidence in themselves and is able to perform clinical services without oversight (note that while Resident Physiotherapists may apply they should have some experience and “know-how” to be able to help colleagues navigate patient care and basic clinical procedures);

•  A therapist who is open and interested in learning from other practitioners and specialists to see how both services can benefit each other;

• People with the confidence and self-starter mentality who work hard and have a burning desire to help others and to ensure patients complete prescribed treatment plans;

• Self-starters - That means you are hungry to build your patient base… you’d never hide behind a desk or in an office, instead, you get out in the community or on the phone. Whatever it takes to acquire patients that you know need your care.

• The ideal candidate will have a compassionate approach to rehabilitation, an inclination towards manual methods of treatment as well as an ability to analyze whole-body movement patterns and provide corrective treatment plans to move patients toward their goals. 

• A team player and advocates for the patient’s wellness through other services provided at the clinic like massage therapy, chiropractic, holistic nutrition and osteopath.

REQUIREMENTS 

• You must be registered with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario;

• Ability to use clinical judgment and perform the physical demands of physiotherapy;

• You are organized; and

• You show a willingness to participate in continuous education and quality improvement programs

 

About Kulhay Wellness Centre

Kulhay Wellness Centre is a community-based wellness clinic operating in Erin, Ontario for 20 years. We provide Physiotherapy and rehabilitation services to a wide array of clients of all ages including, private insurance, WSIB, MVA, Veterans Affairs and Canadian Armed Forces. Our quaint clinic has a main treatment room with 4 beds in an integrative private/open-concept layout, and offers professional front desk support for booking, billing and improving the patient experience. 
We have a close-knit team of professionals who have been working collaboratively and having fun for more than 10 years.  We hope to add another dynamic team member to our operations.
