What Is FACIAL REJUVENATION Cosmetic Acupuncture?

How Does It Work?
By inserting very fine, hair-thin, disposable, sterile needles into specific acupuncture points on the face, there is a rush of blood circulation to the specific areas. The skin becomes nourished, oxygenated and moisturized, from the inside out. When there is more circulation, the body produces more collagen and this, in turn, gives the skin more tightness & elasticity, helping to reduce and/or eliminate sagging skin, wrinkles, double chin, dark circles, etc..
What Is The Success Rate?
A 1996 report in The International Journal of Clinical Acupuncture reported that among 300 cases treated with Cosmetic Acupuncture, 98% had marked effects with one course of treatment. The effects included: the skin becoming tighter and lifted, the levelling of wrinkles, improvements in skin tone and complexion, and improvement of the elasticity and general rejuvenation of the skin.
How Many Sessions Are Needed?
Twelve 1 hour sessions of Cosmetic Acupuncture are the recommended protocol in order to achieve optimal results. Two treatments per week over six weeks is most beneficial, or one treatment per week for twelve weeks can show the same results, although at a slower rate. Due to the principles and technique, most patients feel and see benefits with their first session. Noticeable results are seen by the 7th visit. Results last 1 – 3 years with monthly maintenance.
