WHAT IS MESOTHERAPY?
Mesotherapy (also known as meso-lipotherapy) is the exciting new medical alternative to liposuction for spot fat reduction and cellulite treatment. The procedure is administered through a series of micro-injections to permanently dissolve fat.Mesotherapy is categorized as belonging to the science of homotoxicology, where illness is considered to be the human body’s defense against toxic substances that want to ruin the natural balance of your cellular system.Basically, mesotherapy involves injecting a customized cocktail of vitamins, minerals, medications, homeopathics, and amino acids . . . just under the surface of your skin – the mesoderm.Mesotherapy helps with pain management, eliminate cellulite, anti-aging benefits, promote weight loss, eliminate localized fat deposits.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT WITH MESOTHERAPY?
You can expect individualized treatments in each session with minimal downtime afterwards. Proper steps will be taken to minimize downtime and improve results.
WHO SHOULD HAVE MESOTHERAPY?
Generally, healthy adults from 18 to 80 can get a mesotherapy treatment. That includes everyone from athletes to the elderly.Mesotherapy should not be performed if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant or breast-feeding. Furthermore, if you are diabetic, have a history of stroke, blood clots, heart disease, or bleeding disorders then mesotherapy treatments are not for you.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MESOTHERAPY?
Mesotherapy can reduce fat, eliminate cellulite, diminish the appearance of wrinkles, and contour the body in 5 to 8 weeks. Many patients lost 4-5 inches around the waist, hips, or thighs. When the desired effect is achieved, annual maintenance is recommended over a period of 5-6 weeks.Even with all of its wonderful results, Mesotherapy is most effective when treatments are combined with a healthy diet and good exercise program.Much like its cosmetic surgery cousins (liposuction, hair replacement, etc), mesotherapy should not be considered as a replacement for a health lifestyle. You will need to monitor your diet and exercise for mesotherapy to “work” long-term for you. This means you will have to do your part to ensure greatest results and success.
