• Stephanie Marwood is the mother of four healthy children. She has lived in the Caledon area for 19 years.

• She first learned about homeopathy ten years ago and spent many years educating herself about this healing modality.

• In 2004, she decided to formalize her study by joining the only accredited school for the study of Classical Homeopathy in Canada “The Toronto School of Homeopathic Medicine” and graduated as a Homeopath in June of 2008 and is currently an Associate Member of the Canadian Society of Homeopaths.

• She has a passion for healing and the genuine desire to help her patients improve and/or recover their health so that they can enjoy their lives again.

REIKI

The word Reiki (pronounced Ray-Key) is a Japanese kanji for universal life-force energy. Reiki is a Japanese holistic, light-touch, energy-based modality. Working as a support mechanism to the body, Reiki re-establishes a normal energy flow of ki (life force energy) throughout the system, which in turn can enhance and accelerate the body’s innate healing ability. Through a series of hand positions either directly on or just above the body, the energy worker allows for the flow of energy through their body. The client’s body then draws off the amount of energy that is required.

THERAPEUTIC TOUCH

Therapeutic Touch, a contemporary interpretation of several ancient healing practices, is a consciously directed process of energy exchange during which Practitioners use their hands as a focus for facilitating healing.Stephanie creates an atmosphere that is safe and warm and starts the healing session with a mini reflexology on the feet and hands with essential oils while playing healing Reiki music.She then does Reiki, Therapeutic touch and clearing and cleansing with crystals. This is a wonderful way to feel relaxed and at peace and a good way for the body to release on a mental emotional level. The sessions are booked for 40 minutes or 60 minutes.

Rates:

• $60 per 40 minute session (plus G.S.T.)
• $80 per 60 minute session (plus G.S.T.)

WHAT IS HOMEOPATHY?

Homeopathy is a natural system of medicine that uses diluted substances that are non toxic to stimulate the body back to health. Remedies are made from diluted substances such as plants, minerals and animal substances which are repeatedly diluted and succussed (vigorously shaken).

The more the remedies are diluted and succussed the more powerful the remedy becomes. This is a safe and effective method of treating babies, children, pregnant women, the elderly and animals.

I have four children of my own and have actively used homeopathy to treat various childhood health issues which they’ve experienced over the past 10 years. They have suffered no adverse reactions to the remedies that they’ve been treated with and are perfectly healthy and well adjusted children.

In this age of children being prescribed a variety of suppressive medicines, it’s invaluable to have other non toxic options. Homeopaths take into consideration all aspects of the patient including the mental, emotional and physical which can include factors such as how one responds to the environment, or to the death of a pet, or to the divorce of their parents.

All of these factors affect people differently and as a result will develop different symptoms from the same stress or trauma. Imagine the “vital force” (Chi, Prana, Ki) is like a balloon and trauma pokes a hole in it, creating a “leak” of energy. That is why it is essential to see a homeopath and get the leak in the balloon sealed before it is completely depleted.

Chronic treatment is for long term mental, emotional and/or physical health issues which have developed over time and which may be rapidly worsening.

• Adult Chronic: Initial consultations (90 to 120 minutes)
  Cost: $200 plus G.S.T.
• Child Chronic: Initial consultations (60 to 90 minutes)
  Cost: $130 plus G.S.T.
• Adult follow up: Consultations are booked for 60 minutes
  Cost: $100 plus G.S.T.
• Child follow up: Consultations are booked for 30 minutes
  Cost: $65 plus G.S.T.

HOMEOPATHY RATES (ACUTE)

Acute treatment relates to viral infections like colds and flus or bumps, bruises, sprains or strains.

Acutes: Consultation for acutes is booked for 25 minutes and cost $40 plus GST.
