Dr. Lori Dickson is excited to be part of Kulhay Wellness Clinic, bringing a high level of expertise in natural healthcare. Always knowing she would enter the field of natural health, she completed her degree in Health Science at the University of Western Ontario, focusing on human anatomy and physiology, prior to completing her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine, a 4-year full time program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto.

Lori is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and is registered through the Board of Directors of Drugless Therapy- Naturopathy, as well as member of both the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors (OAND), and The Canadian Society for Orthomolecular Medicine. Clinical areas of interest include detoxification, digestive complaints, weight loss and mental/emotional health.

Treatment Philosophy
It takes a long time for the body to break down. From the daily stresses in our lives, air pollutants that we breath in, pesticides on our food, to the water we drink, it is difficult to avoid an accumulation of toxic chemicals in our body. These chemicals can start a deterioration process within our body, as well as cellular breakdown, leading to digestive disorders, weight gain, fatigue, headaches, joint pain, depression, anxiety, allergy symptoms etc.

Dr. Lori Dickson takes a comprehensive approach to health care to determine the underlying cause of dysfunction and treating the person as a whole, not just the symptom.

IV vitamin/mineral therapy has allowed Lori to assist her patients in a much more effective method to healing and wellness. This treatment will allow delivery of nutrients to bypass the digestive system and liver filtration system to enter directly into the cell, therefore providing instant absorption of nutrients to where it is needed. This therapy is especially beneficial in gastrointestinal disorders like crohns disease, irritable bowel syndrome, ulcerative colitis. Vitamins/minerals used in IV therapy differ depending on individual needs, using optimal doses of nutrients for enhancing and supporting the immune system, improving athletic performance, and improving energy during as well as after illness. Mesotherapy is by far the most effective treatment for cellulite. This practice involves the injection of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and potent antioxidants directly into the skin for cosmetic purposes such as; reducing fat, body contouring, alopecia, eliminate cellulite, clearing acne, reduce facial wrinkles and creases, as well as for pain management; localized bone and joint disorders.
